Transitioning to my new role as Youth Ministry Director at Mission Adelante has been a testament of God’s unmistakable favor in my life. One of the most profound blessings has been Ranjana Kami. Ranjana joined our team as a Youth Ministry Apprentice a few days after I started, and her life truly embodies what it means to love people from all places.
Ranjana is originally from Nepal and moved to Kansas City with her family in 2011 as a refugee. Ranjana’s experience transitioning to life in the United States as a foreigner has given her remarkable drive to serve the immigrant and refugee community. Although she is small in stature, she is a powerful advocate for these families. She has a very vibrant and compassionate spirit which has allowed her to rapidly develop relationships with any and everyone. We call her the 'Ministry Machine' and I am so inspired by the new life she is pumping into our youth programs. I am so privileged to partner with Ranjana and I am excited for the lives God will transform through our youth ministry. Check out the above video to hear more about Ranjana!
